The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification program promotes lifelong learning and the enhancement of the clinical judgment and skills that are essential for high-quality patient care. ASCO supports these principles by providing its members with a variety of opportunities to efficiently earn MOC points for CME accredited activities.
ABIM Extends Deadlines
In recognition of the current stress and strain on physicians due to COVID-19, the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Board of Directors has announced it will extend all Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirement deadlines through December 31, 2022. As a result, no diplomates will lose their certification if they aren’t able to complete any MOC requirement this year. Learn more about the extension or contact ABIM’s Customer Care team at 1-800-441-ABIM or email@example.com.
