MACRA & the Quality Payment Program

ASCO: Your Partner in Practice Transformation

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) established the Quality Payment Program (QPP), which is transforming the way physicians are reimbursed for services provided under Medicare Part B. As your partner in preparing for these changes, ASCO will regularly update this page with materials to guide practices through the transition. You can also contact us with any questions, comments, or to tell us about your experience implementing MACRA in your practice.

The latest tool to help practices implement QPP, ASCO’s Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) Reporting Registry, is now available for Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) reporting. After an on-boarding process, participating MIPS practices will be able to meet their 2018 QPP requirements. Practices may learn more about the QOPI Reporting Registry or express their interest in participating via email.
