An ASCO endorsement indicates that ASCO officially endorses the education program of another organization. The endorsement also conveys that ASCO grants permission to the organization to use the ASCO logo on the program brochure and other program-related material.
For international meetings that receive an ASCO endorsement, the educational program is developed primarily by local or regional organizers. The educational program is reviewed and approved by the ASCO International Affairs Committee.
ASCO Joint Session
An ASCO Joint Session is an educational session held during a conference or the annual meeting of the requesting organization. The session includes speakers from both ASCO and the requesting organization. Both organizations mutually agree upon topics and speakers.
ASCO has a limited number of funds each year to support speaker attendance at joint sessions. Organizations interested in applying for funding must indicate this on their application.
If your organization is interested in applying for an Endorsement or a Joint Session, please contact ASCO International. Applications should be submitted no later than 6 months prior to the date of the conference.
