The embargo on all abstracts part of the 2014 Quality Care Symposium will lift at 5:00 PM ET on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. An embargoed presscast (virtual press briefing held via teleconference and webinar) will be held at 10:30 AM ET on October 14 for credentialed media.

ASCO's Media Headquarters is where you can go to apply for media credentials, register to attend an upcoming meeting, and access embargoed meeting information. For questions about how to navigate the site, please contact email@example.com.
*If you attended the 2014 ASCO Annual Meeting or covered the meeting remotely, you have already been credentialed by ASCO and will have access to the embargoed meeting information and the October 14 Presscast. You only have to register if you want to attend the Symposium in Boston.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – New studies released today provide insight on the role social factors play in cancer treatment disparities, as well as effective approaches to improving the quality of care. The research ranges from how parental status influences the treatment choices of people living with advanced cancer to the benefit of tumor board meetings in improving outcomes for lung and colorectal cancer patients.
