Susan L. Cohn, MD, is Director of Clinical Sciences, Section of Pediatric Oncology/Hematology, at Comer Children’s Hospital at The University of Chicago and a Professor of Pediatrics at The University of Chicago. Prior to this position, Dr. Cohn served as a faculty member at Northwestern University Medical School and as an attending physician at Children’s Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohn’s research interests include pediatric cancers, particularly neuroblastoma, and blood diseases. She is one of a few pediatric oncologists conducting phase I clinical trials of treatments for neuroblastoma.
Allen S. Lichter, MD, FASCO, is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Conquer Cancer Foundation. Prior to joining ASCO in 2006, Dr. Lichter was at the University of Michigan in two significant leadership roles. He served as Chair and Professor of Radiation Oncology from 1984-1998 and as Dean of the Medical School from 1998-2006. Dr. Lichter was named the first Isadore Lampe Professor of Radiation Oncology, an endowed chair, and also was the Newman Family Professor of Radiation Oncology.
