Julie M. Vose, MD, MBA, FASCO, is the Neumann M. and Mildred E. Harris Professorial Chair and Chief of the Oncology/Hematology Division in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is the Associate Director of Clinical Research and Co-Chair of the Lymphoma Program at the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. In addition to being ASCO’s President-Elect, Dr. Vose also serves on the Special Awards Selection and Health Disparities Committees.

Clifford A. Hudis, MD, FACP, is Chief of the Breast Cancer Medicine Service and an attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and a professor in the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. In addition to being ASCO’s Immediate Past President, Dr. Hudis currently serves on the Special Awards Selection, Finance, and CancerLinQ Advisory Committees. His research interests include all areas of care related to breast cancer, with a focus on the development of novel systemic therapies.

Susan L. Cohn, MD, is Director of Clinical Sciences, Section of Pediatric Oncology/Hematology, at Comer Children’s Hospital at The University of Chicago, and a professor of pediatrics at The University of Chicago. In addition to being the Treasurer for ASCO’s Board of Directors, Dr. Cohn also serves on the Finance, Bylaws, and Audit Committees and ASCO Connection Editorial Board. Her research interests include pediatric cancers, particularly neuroblastoma, and blood diseases. She is one of a few pediatric oncologists conducting phase I clinical trials of treatments for neuroblastoma.
Allen S. Lichter, MD, FASCO, is the Chief Executive Officer of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO. He has been an ASCO member since 1980 and served the Society in an array of volunteer positions before accepting the position of CEO in 2006. Dr. Lichter’s research and development of three-dimensional treatment planning led to a Gold Medal from the American Society for Radiation Oncology. In 2002, he was elected to membership in the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science.
