Clinical Trial Resources:
ASCO is releasing a series of articles in its Journal of Oncology Practice to help oncologists enhance their research programs. The series is based on ASCO’s Statement on Minimum Standards and Attributes of Exemplary Clinical Trial Sites.
ASCO-FDA Critical Path Collaboration:
ASCO is working with the Food and Drug Administration on activities through the FDA’s Critical Path Initiative.
Central Review of Clinical Trials:
Centralized review of multi-center clinical trials will help improve the consistency and efficiency of clinical trial review. ASCO is engaged in advocacy activities to promote centralized review for multi-center trials.
ASCO-FDA Project on Cancer Drug Approval Endpoints:
ASCO has organized, along with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), National Cancer Institute (NCI), and other professional societies, workshops to evaluate potential endpoints for cancer drug approval.
