The ASCO Cancer Foundation supports educational programs of the highest quality in cancer care and prevention; facilitates the dissemination of information about cancer and cancer treatment to patients and their families; and, through The ASCO Cancer Foundation Grants & Awards Programs, supports and encourages excellence in clinical research in the field of oncology.
The information included below is a list of those grants and awards of interest to community-based researchers and ASCO’s State/Regional Affiliates. A full list of The ASCO Cancer Foundation programs is available on the Foundation’s website.
Community Oncology Research Grant:
Intended to support community-based practices’ efforts to enhance their clinical trials program. Total: $30,000 over one (1) year.
Clinical Trials Participation Award:
Intended to increase awareness and participation in clinical trials among physicians. Nominations are requested from the community-based oncology research networks.
State Affiliate Grant Program:
Program established to provide financial support to its State/Regional Affiliates as they seek to enhance the scope of their activities.
