GI Cancers Symposium Virtual Meeting

Instructions for Abstract Presenters

ASCO invites you to participate in our Virtual Meeting by submitting a PowerPoint presentation of your poster through the Faculty and Presenter Headquarters' website.

Your submission should be formatted in sequential order of power point slides, as though you were presenting orally. We are unable to accept a PDF or single slide of your poster. Participation is optional, and highly encouraged.

Preparing Your Presentation:
1. Your submission should be formatted in sequential order of power point slides, as though you were presenting orally. We are unable to accept be a PDF/picture of your poster.
2. Avoid excessive animation and unnecessary graphics.
3. Have a minimum of 5 slides and no more than 50 slides.
4. Submit only ONE file.

Instructions for Uploading your Presentation:
1. Log on to the Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium Faculty & Presenter Headquarters' website and enter your user name and password.
2. Navigate under Session Information, find your session, click Upload Presentation or Upload for Virtual Meeting.
3. Click Upload File.
4. Click Browse and select the file containing your presentation. NOTE: Your file name should not contain any spaces, or periods (other than before the file extension). Example: slides042103.ppt
5. Click Upload. Your browser will refresh—your presentation will show as a hyperlink next to the Poster File field.

Instructions for Updating your Presentation:
If you change your presentation after you have submitted it, delete the old version by clicking the[x] next to the file name. Then upload the new version following the steps above. Please note that the new file will write over your previous version.
