ASCO is a proud member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), and a signer of the World Cancer Declaration. Each year, cancer kills an estimated 7.6 million people, more than AIDS, Malaria, and TB combined. And the death toll is set to rise dramatically in the coming decades. The World Cancer Declaration is a petition to help bring this crisis to the attention of government leaders.
The time to act is now. By adding your name to the thousands who have already signed the Declaration, you can let world leaders know that you believe cancer is a priority global health issue, deserving of their commitment and attention.
