New MCMC Program: "Train the Trainer"
"Train the Trainer" refers to the training of instructors who then themselves conduct their own courses. The "Train the Trainer" program is designed to help participants:
• Increase their understanding of multidisciplinary cancer care concepts;
• Organize future ASCO courses and other educational activities;
• Learn effective teaching methods and practical skills for course implementation;
• Understand general teaching principles and elements of multidisciplinary treatment;
• Discuss implementation strategies for the organization of their own MCMC
The "Train the Trainer" pilot program took place from August 11-13, 2010 in Santiago, Chile and was presented in collaboration with the Chilean Oncology Foundation.
