ASCO created the State Affiliate Grant Program in 2005 to provide financial support to its State/Regional Affiliates as they seek to enhance the scope of their activities. All 47 Affiliates are eligible to apply for a grant. In 2007-2008, eight Affiliates were awarded $10,000 grants to engage in projects that will have an overall benefit to their members, ASCO members, other state societies, and the general oncology community.
