Best of ASCO® International
The Best of ASCO® International delivers highlights from the ASCO Annual Meeting in local settings around the world. A panel of ASCO experts selects abstracts from the ASCO annual meeting to create the Best of ASCO®. ASCO licenses the program to oncology societies outside of the United States.
The Best of ASCO® enables local oncology professionals to access highlights presented at the Annual Meeting without the expense and time commitment of lengthy international travel. Furthermore, the format of the Best of ASCO® International meetings allows for local faculty to place the research and presentations into the context of the country or region.
Countries which have hosted the Best of ASCO® program include Japan, Panama, Lebanon, Brazil, Mexico, and Egypt.
In 2008, the Best of ASCO® will be presented in the following locations:
July 5-6, 2008 - Tokyo Big Sight, Japan
Held in conjunction with the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology (JSMO)
July 10-11, 2008 - Beirut, Lebanon
Held in conjunction with the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology (LSMO)
July 12-13, 2008 - New Delhi, India
Held in conjunction with the Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (ISMPO)
August 15-16, 2008 - Singapore
Held in conjunction with the Singapore Society of Oncology
August 22-23, 2008 - Porto Alegre, Brazil
Held in conjunction with the Sociedad Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Oncologia Médica (SLACOM)
September 19-20, 2008 - Cancun, Mexico
Held in conjunction with the Sociedad Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Oncologia Médica (SLACOM)
October 9-11, 2008 - Intercontinental Playa Bonita Resort, Panama
Held in conjunction with the Sociedad Panameña de Oncologia
Best of ASCO® 2009
