After this symposium, participants will be better able to: - Summarize the current status of screening for prostate cancer, including the development of novel molecular markers and diagnostic strategies used in the detection of prostate cancer.
- Utilize appropriate markers and strategies valuable in risk assessment of patients with localized prostate cancer.
- Analyze the advances in multidisciplinary care of prostate cancer, specifically the optimal combination of sequencing of various therapeutic options in patients with all stages and states of prostate cancer.
- Implement changes in the practice setting based on data presented regarding the use of new targeted and cytotoxic agents in advanced prostate cancer.
