Notice Regarding 2008 Annual Meeting Abstracts
The 2008 Annual Meeting abstracts designated for oral, clinical science symposia, poster discussion, and general poster sessions will be publicly released on ASCO’s website on Thursday, May 15 at 9:00 PM (EDT). The publish-only abstracts for the meeting will also be posted at that time, and all of the online abstracts will be fully searchable.
Late-breaking abstracts (LBAs) and Plenary session abstracts will be distributed to registered attendees on site at the meeting in Chicago on Saturday, May 31. These abstracts will be made publicly available online over the course of the weekend.
All ASCO Members and Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) subscribers will receive the Annual Meeting Proceedings I containing the posted abstracts with their May 20 issue of the JCO. The Annual Meeting Proceedings II, containing the Plenary and Late-breaking abstracts, will mail with the June 20 issue of the JCO. Please note, abstract books will be provided on site to all meeting attendees.
Reporters and Public Relations representatives should consult ASCO’s Media Policies and Public Relations Policies respectively for specific information regarding ASCO’s media embargo.
