2008 Annual Meeting General Accreditation Information


CME Accreditation and Designation Statement
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

ASCO designates this educational activity for a maximum of 38 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Pharmacy and Nursing Continuing Education
A majority of the sessions in the 2008 ASCO Annual Meeting program are certified for pharmacy and/or nursing continuing education credit. Continuing education (CE) statements of credit will be available online within four to six weeks after the meeting to all attendees who have successfully completed a Program Evaluation and Continuing Education booklet. Participants must be registered for the 2008 ASCO Annual Meeting in order to obtain credit. CE credits for these activities are made possible through an unrestricted educational grant from ASCO.


Pharmacy Accreditation Statement
Professional Education Services Group is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. ACPE Provider number 829.


Nursing Accreditation Statement
Professional Education Services Group is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
