Continuing Medical Education
|
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), founded in 1964, has been an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians since 1977. With a diverse membership of over 25,000 oncologists, including private practice and academic clinicians and clinical investigators, the ASCO CME Program offers a variety of educational activities, delivered in many different formats, to meet the needs of all constituencies represented.
In 2006, ASCO went through the ACCME's reaccreditation process and received Accreditation with Commendation, a distinction awarded to less than 15% of CME providers.
Information in this section relates to ASCO's continuing medical education (CME) program, focusing on the Society's CME Mission Statement and educational opportunities that are certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM.
For all live activities, ASCO's policy is that evaluations and CE credit requests will only be accepted within 30 days of the activity.
If you have any questions regarding ASCO's continuing medical education activities, or you would like to request a replacement Continuing Medical Education Certificate, please call (703) 519-2931 or send an e-mail to cme@asco.org.
