Member and Meetings Services
ASCO Member and Meetings Services delivers the highest quality customer service and information to both ASCO members and non-members. Member Services is responsible for processing new membership applications and dues, researching and fulfilling requests, and maintaining the ASCO Membership Directory (print and online versions. ASCO Member Services is also represented at other societies' meetings, and onsite at the ASCO Annual Meeting.
ASCO Meetings Services handles the logistical aspects of all ASCO meetings, including housing, registration, travel, and exhibits.
Cancer Policy and Clinical Affairs
The Cancer Policy and Clinical Affairs Department monitors and reports on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the practice of clinical oncology and advocates on behalf of patients with cancer and their health care providers on Capitol Hill. The department also offers guidance on issues of practice management and quality care, and develops guidelines for physicians. The department also produces Technology Assessments designed to determine the efficacy of emerging treatment methods.

Communications and Patient Information
The Communications and Patient Information Department is responsible for the public communication of ASCO’s programs, publications, and initiatives. The department serves as a resource for news media working on cancer-related stories or seeking information about the Society and its health policy positions. It also produces a variety of educational resources for patients, including ASCO’s consumer website, Cancer.Net (www.cancer.net).
Education, Science, and Career Development
The Education, Science, and Career Development Department produces comprehensive educational resources for oncology professionals and offers the ASCO Fellowship Grants Program to encourage investigators in the field of clinical oncology. The department also generates the program for the ASCO Annual Meeting, the premier educational and scientific event in the oncology community.

International Affairs
The International Affairs Department addresses the needs of ASCO’s growing international membership by developing educational activities and funding programs specifically tailored to the needs of oncology professionals outside of the United States.
Journal of Clinical Oncology The Journal of Clinical Oncology is the Society’s flagship publication. Produced entirely within the Publications Department, JCO is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on clinical cancer research and is the most authoritative source for current information on the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer.
Publications The Publications Department develops and produces educational and informational material across several mediums, both for ASCO members and for the oncology community. These publications incorporate the most up-to-date, relevant news and advancements in the fields of cancer treatment, prevention, and diagnosis.
ASCO Foundation
